What this Blog is about

I already have a blog at Zaadz, which has been going quite well, and indeed encouraged me about all these things, but thought I should also join and post on the wider blogosphere.

I decided to call this blog Integral Transformation, because that is what it will be about, and what I am interested in. This will involve the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and divine, the individual and collective, the exoteric and esoteric, the secular and the sacred, the scientific and the occult, in fact all dichotomies, can and should be incorporated. In addition of course (although this is also part of the work of integral transformation) I'll also talk about general stuff, experiences with sadhana, what I'm doing at the moment writing-wise, and so on. Also will add pertinant quotes and passages, mostly from Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, and commentaries on them.

For an example of my recent work, see my essay (an Aurobindonian critque of Ken Wilber) on Frank Visser's Integral World - part one, part two (part three hasn't appeared yet). On my website, I am currently revising the Gurus and Spiritual Teachers section, which will deal with both true and fake gurus. I need to also find time for my revision of the Middle Permian on Palaeos.

That's all for now; will post more later!

Great new blog, Alan. I stumbled upon your blog from a series of weird leaps, beginning, curiously enough, with an ad for Ayn Rand lovers, enticing them to join zaadz. [I'm not an Ayn Rand lover, but I mentioned her in an email, so ...]

Anyway, I will add your blog to the Integral Wiki's list of integral blogs. I just added my own, Thoughts Chase Thoughts, there which launched a couple hours ago.

At last I have reached your new blog, Alan. Today, Tushar Mohatra has also written to me an I visited his Blog. He remembers me that I advised him to read The Life Divine some 20 years back. Also, I have received an email from Insight asking me to send an article. And I have started writing the article.
I thank you for all this !

Hi Tom, thanks for adding the link. Good to see another new integral blog taking off! The Integral movement seems to be diversifying all the time, it is quite exciting to be at the forfront of this broad new movement. Anyway I posted a comment at your blog, for what it's worth

Congratulatiosn on the invitation to write that article Barin, I'm sure it will be a great essay!

Dear Alan,

i just happened to glance through your (auto) biographical piece, i am also familiar with much of your web page since it used to come up again and again at my googling, which means we have much shared interest, I am deeply connected to Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, stayed quite long at Auroville, and I am a fellow pilgrim as you are, trying to fathom the comos in the integral way you are doing, i wish success in your essays and your book project, i was also very impressed by your past lives, which gives me courage to my own self discovery in terms of my past avatars, of which i had intimations but never quite believed, also the Gaia is a deeply share inter subjective experience between us, let us stay in touch, good wishes again,

presently in Germany
